And you're not alone. I didn't mean to bash on other publications. But it's baffling. I published one poem in P.S. I Love You. They scheduled in on a Sunday, I submitted it on I think Wednesday. And while I was waiting for the big day, I wanted to clear out other drafts that seemed to not get an answer. I accidentally withdrew my scheduled poem from their pub by mistake and panicked over it, asking them to see if I messed up. Luckily they fixed it and it got published on time. But it's anxiety-inducing to have drafts sitting in your list, as if nothing ever happens. Makes you feel invisible.
