My torch shone on page after page of magical creatures who talked to me, as well as the four schoolchildren who travelled to a faraway land through a piece of furniture. The book, of course, is The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, by C. S. Lewis.
I’m sure you’ll become even more indulged in writing once you can retire. Let’s hope that Illumination let’s that happen a little earlier than planned, right? As for creative writers, there are plenty of people who started rather late if I recall correctly. So it’s never too late. You’re still in your prime.
And I love the mention of the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. I still love Aslan’s quote:
“Do not cite the deep magic to me, witch. I was there when it was written.”
Can’t wait to see what wonders you will churn up once you get hold of it 😊
Read you soon 😁
