Hey, thanks for taking the time to read my long-ass post and commenting šŸ˜

To my shame, I never heard of Rakim. But I also couldnā€™t name a single song from Tupac if youā€™d put a gun to my temple. Maybe I had more the Slim Shady fanboy attitude than being a real hip hop fan.

At least I heard some tracks from other famous late-game rappers like Busta rhymes, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and for example ā€œDaxā€ who lately rocks Youtube and I think heā€™s an awesome rapper.

I also listened to a lot of German rap, which is same but different. Wish I could share, but I doubt any non-German speaker would even find a flow in them.

And I felt the flow from your posted lyrics, they are actually pretty good. Especially the line ā€œGod has instilled a will to buildā€, which is the type of flow I prefer the most. Itā€™s not easy to come up with chains like these. Just listen to Godzilla, thatā€™s the stuff.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Iā€™ll roam Youtube later to listen to some of Rakimā€™s tracks, to see what Iā€™ve been missing out on.

If you like to write lyrics, keep posting them in poetry, weā€™d be on the same page. Iā€™d love to read them.

Oh and I found someone called Shuka4Beats on Youtube, who has awesome instrumentals. I know there are many beat makers out there, but that guy is really really good. Tune in, maybe youā€™ll start freestyling to them. They also come without the voice tags and are free to use.
