I fear if I ever go viral for whatever reason, i’d subconsciously set my own expectations too high and fail to write anything at all. It’s hard enough as it is to write something interesting for a lot of people. Imagine the writing process being additionally tainted with self doubt creeping up at each paragraph.

Or worse, too much false self confidence and thus a hard drop in real quality.

I don’t want any of that.
