But that’s everything I had to learn while slowly growing as a freelancer. Especially the mindset to break away from what people pay on Upwork. Their ceiling is but the floor.
In fact, the first time I increased my rates wasn’t on me, but on a very kind client who told me that I’m severely underselling myself. He paid me triple what I asked for and told me that I should ask for at least as much from anyone else.
If it wasn’t for him, i’d still be earning pennies.
