Looks like more and more people with a bit of Japan in their heart are finding each other here 😁

Terry Mansfield is married to a Japanese as well and I really love his story.

I’m really glad I got here. The first time I came here, it felt like a whole different world. Of course I got used to most of it over the past 6 years, but there’s so much I still haven’t seen or done.

But I’m also drawn to the US. I’ve never been there, but there are so many places I’d like to see with my own eyes. I started writing a sci-fi novel a few months ago (which I haven’t worked on past chapter one) and wanted to describe my picked location authentically. I picked Richmond, Virginia and have spent much time on Google Earth, roaming these streets. I visited the St. John’s Church and learned about its importance during the war of independence and the speech of Patrick Henry.

While the book is far from becoming a book, I learned a lot in that time 😄
