You are absolutely correct. Failing to accept failure as part of the process is true failure.
Ironically, I have written an article about this exact topic alone, which I submitted to Age of Awareness last Saturday, but they still haven't done anything with it.
That article deals specifically with the fear of failure and how to overcome it. (I believe you can't get rid of your fear, but you can learn to fear a different thing.
Instead of fearing to try and fail, start fearing to not make any progress and be in the same spot you are right now in 20 years.
Fear to stagnate. Because stagnation is the failure you should be fearing.
